Bruce Harvey has spent much of his life traveling the world, absorbing the musical sounds of many cultures. His compositions reflect a passion for World Music. His band "Del Mundo" is all original Contemporary Flamenco Guitars.
Bruce Harvey is an established professional guitarist working at some of the most exclusive clubs and restaurants in Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla and throughout Southern California. He is an accomplished performer playing everything from classical, jazz, popular and original contemporary flamenco music as a solo, duo or group performer.
Bruce has taught students over the past 30 years in both private guitar instruction settings and college classrooms. He is the former owner/director of Main Street Music School in Sebastopol, California. In addition, he holds a California Community College teaching credential. As a gifted teacher, Bruce creates an environment which encourages and challenges his students to reach their musical potential. Some of his former students have been accepted into university music programs at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country.
